Nixi-Kaluste is a Finnish family business established in 1974. In 40 years, what began as carpentry shop from Nurmijärvi run by two carpenters has grown into a world-class pioneer in Finnish kitchen design.

Today, we have a total of 20 Nixi shops that bring Nixi kitchens to Finnish homes. With an expansion and renovation carried out from 2006 to 2008, our Nurmo plant has become one of the most modern kitchen factories in the Nordic region. Yet we still employ real, dedicated carpenters who make even the most individual kitchen dreams come true.

A Nixi kitchen is modern and unique. As a result of constant product development, new models are created each year. Our domestic design team combines Finnish taste and the new winds in the kitchen industry. Nixi shows the way: our most recently launched product was a solid wood kitchen named Silvia Kartano – the first of its kind in Finland.

From the beginning, Nixi kitchen furnishings have been delivered unassembled: our deliveries are energy-friendly but also inexpensive and safe. Since 2005, Finnish kitchen maker Aka-kaluste has also been a part of Nixi-Kaluste.
